Medical school seniors nationwide learned of their residency matches during simultaneous Match Day celebrations on St. Patrick's Day.
Soon-to-be doctors get glimpse of promising futures
More than 15,000 seniors at medical schools nationwide celebrated Match Day on March 17, when each learned where they will go for residency training. In Chicago, about 170 seniors from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine gathered at a pizza restaurant for an event complete with cake and party poppers.
