Neil Nelson, MD: 2012 Country Doctor of the Year
Neil Nelson, MD, started practicing in Gibson City, Ill., in 1994. He grew up on a farm in the largely agricultural town of 3,407. Many of his roughly 5,000 active patients are from the Gibson City area, but some travel as far as 1,000 miles to see him.
