It's "childfree," not "childless"

Regarding "Baby bias: Setting policies that are fair to workers" (Article, Jan. 1/8): I applaud your article. Those of us in the physician work force who have chosen not to have children lead just as equally a fulfilling -- and busy -- life as those who have children.
Therefore, a more accurate term is "childfree," as the term "childless" implies that we are missing something or that our lives are somehow not as important because we have chosen not to procreate.
