In February, Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine awarded a combined $750,000 to three organizations for projects expanding the use of electronic medical records in the state.
MedVirginia, CareSpark and the Community Care Network of Virginia each received $250,000. MedVirginia will use its grant to improve medication management for state government employees. CareSpark plans to provide updated electronic data to physicians across southern Virginia.
