Online avian flu course for public health responders

A training course that provides a standardized curriculum to state and local public health responders is now available online. It is designed to educate these health professionals regarding the identification and control of human infections and illness associated with avian influenza A (H5N1). This three-day course, which is the result of a partnership between the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists, is available at the CSTE Web site (link).
