Generic discount program grows

Kmart expanded its generic drug program to include more than 300 medications. The program allows customers to purchase a 90-day supply of certain generic drugs for $15. The program started in May 2006 with about 70 drugs. The program is in all of Kmart's 1,100 stores and includes some popular drugs including sertraline and simvastatin, and 17 formulations of popular prenatal vitamins.
