Microsoft, Mayo team up
NEWS IN BRIEF — Posted Feb. 25, 2008
Microsoft and the Mayo Clinic announced last month they will partner to develop tools that will work on Microsoft's HealthVault platform.
Microsoft launched HealthVault in October 2007.
HealthVault began with more than 40 partners that committed to developing health monitoring systems and applications that would work on the HealthVault platform. Mayo Clinic Health Solutions and Microsoft Corp.'s Health Solutions Group will work together to develop systems to help patients manage their health care and plan to announce further details of their partnership later this year.
