Internet health use up

The Center for Studying Health System Change has found more than twice as many adults seeking health information online than in 2001.
The Washington D.C.-based policy research organization found that 16% of adults used the Internet as a health information resource in 2001. That number increased to 32% in 2007. Overall, 56% of U.S. adults consulted sources other than their physicians for health information, up from 38%.
