Calif. retail clinics shutting down
NEWS IN BRIEF — Posted Feb. 9, 2009
Sutter Health closed three of its six retail health clinics in the Sacramento, Calif., region on Jan. 15 due to a lack of patients. The six clinics logged in a total of about 30,000 patient visits in the past two years, said a company spokesman. The three clinics that are closing, all in Rite Aid stores, typically had fewer than 20 patients a day.
