New health IT blog reports on work of Office of the National Coordinator

The Dept. of Health and Human Services has launched a blog designed to keep people informed of the work being done by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology.
The blog, called Health IT Buzz, will let consumers, health care and technology professionals and policymakers share ideas or just stay informed of the office's latest efforts (link).
Activities that will be discussed on the blog will include efforts to advance standards to achieve interoperability; new options for electronic health record certification; the exploration of health IT-related regulatory and guidance initiatives to protect the privacy and security of health data; and an assessment of critical privacy and security issues.
