California Medical Assn. gets new CEO

The California Medical Assn. on Feb. 1 named Dustin Corcoran as its new CEO.
The 12-year CMA veteran said he was thrilled to have the new position. "I could not think of a job I would rather have than serving the physician community."
Corcoran has been a lobbyist, senior lobbyist and vice president for the organization. Brennan Cassidy, MD, the association's president, said Corcoran "brings tremendous leadership to CMA at the time we most need it."
