NEWS IN BRIEF — Posted Dec. 27, 2010
The National eHealth Collaborative has launched several social media efforts in an attempt to gather additional feedback from stakeholders regarding health information exchange.
The organization launched an official Facebook page, a Twitter feed and a YouTube channel. The organization is using YouTube and Twitter to keep the public informed about news and events. It is encouraging physicians and other stakeholders to use its Facebook page as a forum for discussion and sharing information (link).
"Our goal is to create a robust community of stakeholders who are talking and collaborating to solve some of the most pressing problems facing the widespread adoption and implementation of health information exchange," said Aaron Seib, interim CEO of NeHC.
