Aetna website captures third award for clear communication
NEWS IN BRIEF — Posted April 29, 2013
Aetna’s Writers’ Center for Excellence website took top honors in April in the Center for Plain Language’s annual ClearMark competition. The site, launched last year, allows the insurer’s employees to write messages to members. It won in the private sector category for website and dynamic media, Aetna officials said.
The Washington-based Center for Plain Language has honored the insurer for the past three years. The center promotes clear language in government and business documents. The awards were presented April 16 at the National Press Club in Washington.
